Sneak Preview into Spring 2017 Showrooms

Hi Everyone,

Reviewing fashion weeks – the showroom visits are sometimes even more enlightening than the shows themselves as you get to see what will actually be selling in the shops next season. This gives you a real idea of what your wardrobe should be trending towards.

This post gives you a sneak preview into 5 Spring 2017 Showrooms in both Milan and Paris.

1 Patrizia Pepe

Patrizia Pepe – known to most of you I’m sure. The emphasis in their Spring 17 collection is largely pretty pastel colours. As already seen this Fall, bags are often not plain and tell a little story of their own. Wide leather bracelets with matching bags are the alternative if you prefer the more contemporary look. Platform sneakers obviously still hot on the trend scene.

2. Vladimiro Gioia

The Spring story Vladimiro tells is about a virtual trip along the Silk Road from China to Italy – using the humming bird as one of his main motives. Walking through the new collection was like taking a part in the travels – the Silk road still being on my personal bucket list of places to visit.

3. Fratelli Rossetti / Marco Lagona

At first glance the Fratelli Rossetti showroom was simply one room with very conservative but exclusive quality leather shoes  – but as a brand there’s more to Fratelli Rosetti than meets the eye… read on…

Had to photograph the ceiling of the room as well – an absolute delight for anyone remotely interested in  architecture.

Of particular interest is the collaboration Fratelli Rossetti has entered into with up-and-coming designer Marco Lagona – check out some totally fun looks made with old school perfection.

Official photos

Marco has entered into collaborations with both Fratelli Rosetty and Ikea – who would ever have thought that possible?

4. AGL (Attilio Giusti Leombruni)

AGL is an adorable Italian family business that has been specialising in footwear for over 50 years. With a clear passion for their products. I fell in love with  their innovative designs.

  1. I am not really in the mood for spring yet. Saw lots of bags though which I really like. The yellow dots bag and shoes would match my jacket. The one I wore to the blogger meet in May. I am a trend setter whahaha.
