So here it is the one piece of style advice every woman needs is: “It’s in the Bag”! You can wear the simplest of outfits – just like this grey dress – team it up with a good quality funky bag and your outfit is complete.
Looking pretty pale as it’s the beginning of my Sicily vacation. Put on dress (vintage Prada) and shoes (L.K.Bennett) and stared at self in horror at how plain the whole outfit looked. Then I remembered this cute Caroline Dechamby clutch and matching bracelet I had taken with me.
It literally turned an otherwise plain outfit into an eye catcher in seconds.
So much so that later in the week I used the bag to dress up an outfit I had previously worn casually:
Finally a bit of a suntan…
Voila – this is actually the same outfit as in previous post only this time teamed up with heels and lovely green clutch.
Conclusion
The trick to perfecting an outfit and the one piece of style advice every woman needs is to have a stunning bag! A good bag is always worth the investment. It doesn’t matter how inexpensive an outfit may be. Team an outfit with an expensive bag and your whole outfit instantly looks expensive too.

I was in awe, I wanted a similar bag. Alas, I am in a different league from you. I cannot afford them. So sad.
I have one bag which is really eye catching and doesn’t even have a print and I hardly use it. Usually there is always so much going on in my outfit that an attention screaming handbag is too much. How pretty it might be.
I would however, never have thought this bag would go with the striped skirt, but it does!
