Happy Sunday. I have just arrived back in Switzerland after a wonderful 4 week break back in home country New Zealand. Sitting amongst a rubble of mail and other things that desperately need sorting this is just a short post about the main thing I keep thinking about as soon as I look out into the snow!
With the extreme temperatures outside it’s really time to make sure the essential warm coat is in our wardrobe. Winter 2017 is more than ever all about faux fur.

For this winter several main designers have already declared they will no longer be using real fur: Giorgio Armani , Stella McCartney (ahead of the curve also with her faux leather bags), Hugo Boss, Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein, Vivienne Westwood to name a few. A favourite recent discovery the brand AGL has a fabulous collection of faux fur bags with matching shoes. The faux fur coat however has become even more exciting than ever – there are so many fabulous colours and styles to choose from. Time to make the most of it and get a fabulous faux fur coat to lift any winter outfit.

Hi Nancy, I need to get a faux fur coat – am like you. Last year I bought a sleeveless one in Paris but it never looks quite right… I am going to get one of my 2 favourites in this post.

I am very much in love with number 1 from net-a-porter… Of course it is the most expensive one. Although the leopard one from Asos is very cute too.
Hope you can adapt to these temperatures quickly.

I LOVE faux fur Yvonne and I was FREEZING all last week in Zurich. I totally forgot how cold it is there in winter. haha! There are some great shops here in Dallas too with amazing faux fur coats so I’ll definitely look into one before it warms up.

Oooh maybe i’ll come to Dallas 😉 The cold is really hitting me hard coming from NZ – possibly just need to go to the mountains as the prob is I haven’t seen blue skies since being back…time for retail therapy 😉
