Baby it’s Cold Outside: Ageless Style Linkup

Hi Everyone, as you know once again it’s the first Tuesday of the month so welcome to  the January Ageless Style theme: Baby it’s Cold Outside.

Nine ladies, showcase their version of this theme in their ageless style. It’s always exciting to see what each of them come up with. We never share photos beforehand so it’s a complete surprise to us all – I love the fact that we all come up with something so different and end up inspiring each other in new fashion directions.

The linkup is at the end of this post so make sure you stay tuned 😉

Sitting in the midst of summer in NZ right now this post is a real challenge but I knew it was coming up so am well prepared – smile.

What’s the first thing we reach for when it’s cold outside? You got it a nice winter coat – so this post is to inspire you all regarding how to style your winter coat.

Gone are the days of one coat sufficing for a whole winter season. Today it’s almost imperative to own more than one coat, preferably in different colours.

3 Coats Everyone Needs in their Wardrobe:

  1. That pink coat is everything!!!

I had a yellow coat with a faux fur collar that my daughter “borrowed”. Like 6 years ago. I’ve finally accepted that I won’t get it back. LOL

    1. Haha yes, I can relate to the story with your daughter…mine is on the constant lookout to poach items of clothing from me….

I love your black coat with awesome detail btw!
      xx Yvonne

    1. Ha ha – perfect opportunity to get a new black coat in this case…or maybe I should be taking my hat off to you Debbie for managing to survive so long without one!

      xx Yvonne

  2. I loved how you showcased different colors for different occasions or looks, thumbs up!!! I love your precious pink coat; it is such a nice site to see among a sea of grey & black during the winter months! I try to steer away from black knowing there are so many other fun, vibrant festive colors in outerwear these days. I also love the pink faux fur you featured from Net-a-porter; too cute! Greg blog post & thanks for sharing so many fun ideas!!! xxx Diane
